Welcome to day 12. This lesson includes flash cards to test your knowledge as well as the ExamFacts disease study guide. This guide will be used for all diseases and disorders and allows you to breaks down all the signs, symptoms, in a methodical approaches. This will allow you to really understand each condition and easily recognize that condition on the TMC.

It is important you fill out and keep all the study guides for review.

• Use the lecture and the flash cards to fill out the study guide
• Write in all the specific signs, symptoms, what the ABG would look like, treatments, emergency and/or chronic management.
• While every disease will have vitals, breath sounds, X-rays; some will be relevant to emergency while others only to chronic.
• Some will have vent recommendations, others not. Just think it through and as you progress, go back and look at prior disease study guides. When you get to mechanical ventilation, add anything relevant to COPD, ARDS, ect.
